Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of 6thDegree, operated by Zach Suter, a sole proprietor trading as No Equal Consulting. There is no separate registered company. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What 6thDegree does

6thDegree helps you find podcasts and shows relevant to your work, see how people in your network connect to them, and track your outreach. It reads publicly available information from platforms like YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts and Podcast Index.

Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity under your account.
• One person per account. Do not share credentials.
• You must be 16 or older and provide accurate information.
• We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts the service at risk.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use 6thDegree to send spam, harassment, or bulk unsolicited messages.
• Attempt to extract the underlying data in bulk, scrape the service, or resell its output as a data product.
• Use the contact details it surfaces for anything other than genuine, individual professional outreach.
• Reverse engineer, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or other users’ data.
• Use it in a way that breaches the terms of any platform whose data it reads.

6thDegree finds contact details that people have already published. It is a research tool, not a permission slip. You remain responsible for complying with the marketing and anti-spam laws that apply to you, including CAN-SPAM, GDPR and PECR where relevant.

YouTube

6thDegree uses YouTube API Services. By using 6thDegree, you are agreeing to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, available at https://www.youtube.com/t/terms.

Google’s handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. Our own handling of data is described in our Privacy Policy.

Your data

The projects, contacts and notes you create remain yours. You can export or delete them at any time. We claim no ownership over your working data, and we do not use it to train machine learning models.

You grant us only the permission needed to store and process that data in order to run the service for you.

Availability and accuracy

6thDegree depends on external platforms that can change, rate-limit or remove access without notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and results will vary as those sources change.

Discovered information, including follower counts, contact details and suggested connections, is gathered automatically and can be wrong or out of date. Check anything that matters before acting on it. We are not liable for decisions made on the basis of discovered data.

Payment

Where a paid plan applies, the price, billing period and cancellation terms will be set out at the point of purchase. Fees already paid are not refundable except where the law requires it.

Ending your use

You can stop using 6thDegree and delete your account at any time from the account page. We may end or suspend access if these terms are breached, or if we discontinue the service, in which case we will give reasonable notice and an opportunity to export your data.

Liability

6thDegree is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, Zach Suter is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost business arising from your use of the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page will change, and material changes will be notified by email. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
